Commitee Members: Layton Carr
Layton spent his career in the
technical and business management of an aerospace
manufacturing company that produced structural
components for military and commercial aircraft. Looking
for a rural setting, open spaces and the presence of
agriculture to buffer urban development, Layton and his
wife Marsha settled in Sequim in 1997.
He is committed to preserving this rural environment and
working toward development of the area which ensures the
preservation of agriculture and achieves a harmonious
balance between what we have and necessary future
growth. In addition to serving on the Board of Friends
of the Fields, Mr. Carr is also a member of the Board of
Trustees of the Museum and Arts Center in Sequim.
